Venue Cycle

The output of multiple blowers is electronically controlled to fill a space with air using vinyl ducts that can extend up to 100 meters. As the ducts expand and contract—mimicking the rhythm of breathing—in response to motor controls, inserting a recorder into them amplifies the sound of the motors’ “breathing.”
This work is frequently performed in collaboration with dancers and musicians.
